NiftyCrats X Farmer's Delight – Seed Drill Compatibility Pack

DATAPACK

Adds Farmer's Delight seeds to the Seed Drill, letting you plant tomato, cabbage, rice, and onion automatically.

This data pack solves a specific compatibility gap between NiftyCarts' Seed Drill and the Farmer's Delight mod. Without it, Farmer's Delight seeds cannot be loaded into the Seed Drill, forcing players to plant crops like tomato, cabbage, rice, and onion by hand. The data pack registers those four seed types as valid drill items, allowing the drill to detect and consume them during automated planting.

It is intended for players who use both NiftyCarts (or any mod that adds the Seed Drill) and Farmer's Delight, and who want to reduce manual planting work. The pack works alongside other farming automation tools and does not change any vanilla or modded crafting recipes, block behaviors, or loot tables. It only modifies the Seed Drill's accepted seed list.

  • Supports tomato seeds, cabbage seeds, rice, and onion from Farmer's Delight
  • Works with any Seed Drill variant provided by NiftyCarts or compatible add-ons
  • No configuration needed – install and the seeds become usable in the drill immediately
  • Lightweight: adds only a few lines of data to the drill's seed tag
  • Does not affect performance or conflict with other data packs that modify the same tag

Requirements: Minecraft Java Edition 1.19.2 or 1.20.1 (check pack version), NiftyCarts mod installed, Farmer's Delight mod installed. The data pack currently supports only the four listed seeds; seeds from Farmer's Delight add-ons are not included. Future versions may add broader compatibility, but as of now the pack is limited to the base mod's crops. No other dependencies or library mods are required.
