Repurposed Structures - Friends and Foes Compat Data Pack

DATAPACK

Integrates Copper Golems and Beekeepers from Friends & Foes into Repurposed Structures' Overworld villages.

Repurposed Structures dramatically expands the variety of villages across your world, but by default its custom layouts do not include the unique villagers and constructs added by the Friends & Foes mod. This data pack solves that disconnect, directly injecting Copper Golem spawning areas and Beekeeper workstations into every Overworld village variant generated by Repurposed Structures. If you enjoy both mods and want their content to coexist naturally in your generated worlds, this compatibility layer is a straightforward necessity.

The pack modifies village structure templates to place Copper Golems near their distinct work blocks and to ensure Beekeepers can take up their profession inside appropriate village buildings. The result is that as you explore Badlands, Birch, Dark Forest, Desert, Jungle, Mushroom, Swamp, Taiga, or any other Repurposed Structures village, you will encounter these mobs alongside vanilla villagers. No extra configuration is needed; once the pack is active, all newly generated villages include the integration.

  • Copper Golem spawns appear in every Repurposed Structures Overworld village, using the correct Friends & Foes workstations and behavior.
  • Beekeeper villagers generate with their profession blocks inside compatible village houses, so apiculture becomes part of the settlement.
  • Complementary generation does not alter terrain or base village layouts; only the internal structure of buildings is extended where needed.
  • Dual format availability – usable as a datapack for all Minecraft versions that support both mods, and as a separate mod file for 1.20.2+ which loads automatically like any other mod.
  • Lightweight integration that avoids adding new blocks or entities, relying entirely on the content already provided by the required mods.

Requirements and setup: You must have both Friends & Foes and Repurposed Structures installed for the pack to function. If using the datapack version, place it inside your world's datapack folder; some mods can also read datapacks from a global folder to apply them to all saves. For Minecraft 1.20.2 and later, you can opt for the mod version, which simply goes into your mods folder and activates without any manual world edits. Both approaches produce the same in-game result.
