Trek – Over 150 New Structures to Discover

DATAPACK

Bored of vanilla generation? Trek datapack scatters 150+ new structures—jungle treehouses, sunken cities, snowmen—across biomes for a fresh exploration loop.

Vanilla structure generation can become predictable after a few worlds. Trek solves that by adding more than 150 hand-crafted points of interest that slot naturally into existing biomes—without any mods. You'll stumble across floating water islands, grandiose pyramids, elaborate mansions, ancient fortresses, and a host of smaller details like a pork chop sizzling alone on a campfire or a crumbling wall that hints at a lost building. The goal is to reward exploration without breaking the vanilla feel.

The pack suits survivalists who want new threats and loot, builders looking for architectural ideas, and nomadic players who simply enjoy hunting ruins. Weighted spawning means you'll see plenty of small camps and houses to keep overland travel lively, while genuinely rare structures like sunken cities stay special. A handful of existing vanilla structures have also been refreshed (desert temples, jungle temples) to match the pack's heightened sense of discovery, and there are plans to overhaul the rest in future updates.

  • 150+ biome-specific structures—jungle treehouses, taiga snowmen, savanna villages, and many more
  • Weighted rarity system—common camps and ships provide constant interest; rare sunken cities and flying islands feel like true rewards
  • No mods required—a pure datapack that leaves vanilla mechanics untouched
  • Refreshed vanilla structures—select temples now offer more engaging loot and layout changes
  • Intended for broad compatibility—works alongside many mods and datapacks; a compatibility list is available on the pack's wiki

Trek requires Minecraft Java Edition. Just place the datapack folder inside your world's datapacks directory and reload. While the pack is designed to be friendly with other content, world-gen add-ons that radically reshape the terrain may cause conflicts—refer to the included compatibility information for guidance.
