LyreSMP Cobblemon Pack - Community-Focused Multiplayer Modpack

MODPACK

A curated Cobblemon modpack for small multiplayer servers, balancing Pokémon battles, farming, and building with a strong social focus.

The LyreSMP Cobblemon Pack solves a common multiplayer problem: how to blend the creature-collecting excitement of Cobblemon with the creative and survival freedom of vanilla Minecraft, without one playstyle overtaking the other. It was assembled for the Lyre's community server to support a tight-knit group where competitive battlers, casual explorers, builders, and farmers all contribute to a shared world. Every included mod serves the goal of encouraging player interaction, whether through scheduled tournaments, collaborative builds, or a player-run economy.

This pack is ideal for friend groups, streamer communities, or small whitelisted servers that prioritize social play over individual progression. It gives structure to Pokémon events—admins control legendary spawns and can organize tiers—while leaving plenty of room for players who prefer to spend their time designing towns or running automated farms. The experience assumes active moderation and a Discord-based event schedule; without that layer of community organization, the pack's balance feels incomplete.

  • Event-ready Cobblemon setup: Configs tailored for both casual cups and structured competitive seasons, with admin tools for managing rare spawns and OP legendaries via Discord.
  • Build-and-farm friendly survival: Extra crop varieties, decorative blocks, and simple quality-of-life automations that don't bypass vanilla effort, keeping builders and farmers on equal footing with battlers.
  • Social infrastructure mods: Optional proximity voice chat compatibility, shared quest prompts, and player trading posts that turn the world into a living community rather than a collection of solo bases.
  • Minimalist curation: Zero redundant tech mods or inventory clutter—only the tools needed to run events, beautify the landscape, and connect players.
  • Discord-integrated support: Pack issues, event announcements, and the often-asked "What are OP Legendaries?" are handled directly through the LyreSMP Discord by @icegraming.

Servers running this modpack need at least 4 GB of dedicated RAM (6 GB recommended) and a modern CPU to handle 6–10 concurrent players without tick lag. The balance assumes a whitelisted environment with an active admin team—expect roles to break down if scaled to a large, unmoderated public lobby. Art assets by Enaszu and additional editing by icegraming reflect the pack's community-led nature.
