Accurate Block Placement Reforked - Smart Block Placing Mod

MOD

Automatically places blocks when holding right-click, removing the need for precise click timing.

Many experienced Minecraft players rely on muscle memory to time their clicks perfectly when rapidly placing blocks. However, even the best players make mistakes when moving the camera quickly, leading to missed placements or accidental actions. This mod solves that problem by automatically detecting when you look at a new block position while holding the use key (default: right-click) and placing it instantly. No more worrying about clicking at the exact right moment – just hold down the button and move your view, and blocks will appear where you point.

This mod is ideal for builders, redstone engineers, and anyone who frequently places large quantities of blocks in tight spaces or at high speed. It is also useful for players with slower reflexes or those who find rhythmic clicking uncomfortable. However, note that because this mod automates a player action, it may be considered a cheat on some multiplayer servers and could be detected by anti-cheat plugins. Always check the server’s rules before using it, and use it at your own risk.

  • Automatic Placement While Holding – Hold right-click and move your crosshair over adjacent valid block faces; the mod places a block each time your target changes.
  • Configurable Toggle – Enable or disable the mod’s behavior via a config file or assign a keybind (unbound by default) to switch it on the fly.
  • Works With Any Placeable Item – Supports blocks, slabs, stairs, doors, redstone components, and any other item that uses the right-click placement action.
  • No Timing Required – Eliminates the need to manually time clicks when moving between positions, reducing hand strain and placement errors.
  • Lightweight and Client-Side – Only modifies your own client behavior; no server-side installation needed (but server rules may still apply).

Requirements: This mod requires Minecraft Java Edition (specific version compatibility listed on the mod’s download page) and the Fabric mod loader (or Forge if a port exists). It is a client-side only modification, so it does not need to be installed on the server to function in singleplayer or on servers that allow client mods. However, as noted above, some servers may flag this as an unfair advantage. No other dependencies are required. Credit for the original concept goes to the Accurate Block Placement Reborn mod.
