Totem of Null - Targeted Void Elimination

The Totem of Null plugin brings the signature item from Spoke's Unstable SMP and JamatoP directly to your server. It introduces a unique tool for server moderators and map makers: a custom totem that, when popped upon the holder's death, kills every player previously linked to it by teleporting them into the void. This offers a precise, dramatic consequence that goes far beyond ordinary kick or ban commands, turning an in-game item into a portable, personal death warrant.

This plugin solves the problem of administering delayed, conditional punishments or organising high-stake social experiments. Instead of instantly removing a rulebreaker, you can give a victim or a caretaker the means to trigger the execution themselves. Once a player holds the Totem of Null and tags targets with /ttag , their life becomes entangled with the tagged individuals. If the totem carrier dies while holding it, the enchanted item shatters and every tagged player is immediately sent to the void. This mechanic rewards careful planning and adds a layer of psychological tension, as the holder becomes a walking kill switch.

• Targeted Void Execution – When the totem is popped, all tagged players are forced into the void and instantly killed, regardless of their location or gamemode.
• Multi-Target Tagging – A single Totem of Null can store multiple player tags, letting you link a whole group to one holder's fate.
• Command-Based Management – Use /givet to obtain the totem, /ttag while holding it to add targets, and /tuntag to remove them.
• Strict Duplication Guard – The plugin explicitly warns against middle-clicking or duping the totem. A duplicated item is inert and will never work, preserving the intended balance.
• Server-Side Only – No client mods or resource packs are required; the totem works entirely through the plugin on a Spigot or Paper server.

This plugin requires a Spigot or Paper server running Minecraft 1.16 or later. No additional dependencies are needed. The Totem of Null has no crafting recipe and can only be acquired through the /givet command, ensuring administrators retain full control over its distribution. Permissions are granular: give users the appropriate nodes (totemofnull.give, totemofnull.tag, totemofnull.untag) to limit who can handle this extremely powerful tool. Always remember that duplicated totems are intentionally non-functional, so never attempt to clone the item.
