红石辅助RedstoneAuxiliary - Redstone Info Display Pack

RESOURCEPACK

A vanilla-style resource pack that adds clear visual cues for redstone components like piston types, dispenser orientation, and power levels.

The Redstone Auxiliary resource pack solves a common problem for builders and redstone engineers: quickly identifying the orientation, type, and power state of redstone components without breaking immersion. Designed to preserve the original Minecraft art style, it adds subtle but unambiguous indicators on blocks such as pistons, dispensers, droppers, hoppers, observers, and redstone dust. This pack is ideal for survival players, redstone learners, and technical builders who want to reduce guesswork and speed up their wiring decisions.

Created under the direction of a dedicated resource pack producer, the textures were developed by "Hope" (core textures) and MCmoonRC (dispenser and dropper textures). The pack has been tested in game to ensure the added details remain readable at standard view distances and do not conflict with other common resource packs. Every visual addition follows the principle of "assist, not replace" — you get more information at a glance, but the blocks still look like they belong in the vanilla world.

  • Piston differentiation: Sticky and normal pistons display a clear side indicator so you can tell them apart from any side angle.
  • Dispenser vs. dropper: Unique markings on the front and side faces let you distinguish the two blocks and their facing direction, even when placed in tight spaces.
  • Hopper direction: A top‑down arrow shows the output direction of a hopper without needing to look underneath.
  • Observer orientation: The detection face is highlighted from every angle, preventing placement mistakes.
  • Redstone power display: A numeric or color‑coded overlay on redstone dust and component blocks indicates signal strength, making troubleshooting circuits faster.

This pack requires no special mods or configuration — simply place it in the resource pack folder and enable it in game. It works with vanilla Minecraft 1.13 and later. Note that the power display is designed for default resource pack resolution (16x) and may look less clear on lower screen sizes or with heavy shader modifications. The pack only changes textures for the listed redstone components; all other blocks remain untouched.
