IrisDESCENT is a stylized, non-realistic shader pack built for the Iris shader loader on Minecraft: Java Edition. It solves the problem of flat vanilla lighting by introducing semi-toon shading with quantized light bands, giving terrain a painted, graphic quality. If you want your world to look cooler and more dramatic without losing too many frames per second, this shader is for you.
Designed for players who prefer dark fantasy aesthetics and anime-style color grading, IrisDESCENT keeps the overall look close to vanilla but with increased contrast and saturation. It is not a photorealistic shader; its purpose is to enhance mood and style without requiring a high-end GPU.
